   Scalextric Sport Digital (SSD chip fitted) cars can work on traditional analog non-digital tracks across brands, but they lose the digital operational characteristics of braking, blocking, passing and lane changing. As to whether or not SSD chip fitted cars can work on other brand digital tracks, I know that they do not work on SCX brand digital tracks and this is confirmed by Hornby Hobbies Limited, the manufacturer of the Scalextric brand.
